To establish equality and fairness in public elections, Congress shall regulate contributions to election campaigns, establishing limits on the amount that may be contributed and limiting eligibility to contribute to natural humans.
I believe this only gives Congress the ability to limit political speech without much to guide them. I agree they should have some power to do it, but without more detail, I am soft on the idea.
As elections have devolved into legalized graft, the time has come to eliminate corporate contributions to elections. PACs and Super PACs should not be allowed to set the agenda and stifle the free exchange of ideas and discussion of issues.
I think this proposal is unworkable. I cannot be policed without oppressing the people.
