All members of Congress and house will loss one day pay for each day the government is shut down.
At least.
They should lose a day's pay PLUS their per diem.
Currently all members are paid during shutdown and we have recently experienced the longest shutdown. Taking away pay will get the members more motivated to work together and keep the government open and working.
I support this idea, however this subject seems more suited to legislation than the construction.
